Hey guys.
You know, an odd thing happened tome last night, I had a dream. This is a common occurrence, but an idea for a novel came from it. So naturally soon as I woke I jumped up and wrote everything down. Now the thing that was odd was, the characters and stuff were anthroish and furry...I usually work with humans so this will be interesting.
The idea follows the world that is torn in two. The reptiles on one side, and the mammals on the other. The two opposing types had been at war in the past but now keep the peace and stay out of each others hair. that is until an assassination plot is carried out on the king of the mammals, eliminating almost all of the griffin bloodline. That is save for the youngest son.
With no military experience, little brawn and no clue of what to do he reluctantly accepts that he is in charge. With more reptile attacks throughout the city the wall is built to hold back the attacks untill he can figure anything else out.
His mentor an old age hopping mouse, master of the mind, spirit and body uncovers the tale of an stone that can cease all the fighting. Convinced it is just legend he ignores it, however when he see who is leading the reptiles in assault, he soon changes his mind. They are lead by his mother, whom disappeared several years ago.
So thats what I’ve come up with so far anyway. I think that means it’s a writing day today.
